UMD Ready for Third Phase of Season

Kind of irionic Michigan was the team to put UMD in to the Division I NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament.  After all, the Bulldogs beat Michigan for the 2011 title.  The only way the schools would meet this year would be in the championship game.

Bulldogs Head to Frozen Faceoff with Confidence

There are still a couple of ways for UMD to wrap up a spot in the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey tournament.The first, win the NCHC Frozen Faceoff and claim the automatic berth that comes with winning the conference playoff championship.The other, go 1–1 and sweat out the rest Championship Saturday and maybe Selection Sunday on the bubble.

March Madness; it's what college basketball players dream of.  UW-Green Bay won the Women's Horizon League tournament last weekend, and earned a spot in the 'Big Dance.'

Minnesota Goes Home With Two Wins From UMD

Before Friday the bulldogs were on a three game win streak and looking like themselves again after a rough January. Then the golden gophers came to town and UMD took a hard loss last night to Minnesota 3 to 7. Saturday they went round two with Minnesota.

Avery Peterson Transferring to UMD

Former Minnesota Mr. Hockey Avery Peterson will enroll at the University of Minnesota Duluth and join the Bulldog hockey program when the spring semester starts.

Walker Enjoys Breakout Game for Bulldogs

UMD Footbal got back to work Tuesday after Saturday's 66–17 blowout of Minnesota Crookston.  It was a day where eight different Bulldogs found the end zone.  Including Running Back Darren Walker who scored for the seconnd time in three weeks.
