Stolen Truck Hits Duluth House, Police Search for Suspect

Duluth police are looking for someone who crashed a stolen truck into a home.

The accident happened Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Owatonna Street and Rendle Avenue.

Police say the suspect stole the truck from a nearby gas station and ran from the scene after hitting the house.

The homeowner, Brenda Jensen, said she was settling in for the night when the accident happened.

“I was sitting watching TV and the next thing I knew I heard this big bang crash, and I got up and I saw lights coming into my middle bedroom and I looked out and here I saw this big truck there,” said Jensen.
