GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- The Grand Rapids boys hockey team still has two more days to go before they take the ice at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul.
The Thunderhawks, who are the five seed, will look for redemption against the four seed, Rosemount.
The Irish came into Yanmar Arena back on December 12th and left with a 6-0 win against Grand Rapids.
Last week after their Section 7AA title win, forward Dylan Clayton said if isn’t broke no need to fix it.
“Keep doing our game. Staying focused, getting pucks behind the defenseman. Getting to the net, scoring goals. I think that’s the biggest thing and just not getting away from our game that we’re playing right now,” said Clayton.
Grand Rapids last won a state title in 2017.
