Both UMD Men’s & Women’s Hockey Drop to #10 in Latest USCHO Poll
The UMD men's & women's hockey team will return home this upcoming Friday.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team took a little bit of a drop in the latest USCHO poll.
The Bulldogs are now 10th in the nation after they were swept by Denver this past weekend. Each game against the Pioneers came down to just one goal.
UMD will try to snap their four-game losing streak this upcoming Friday when they welcome in the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota.
Puck drop for game one is set for 7:07 PM.
Like the men’s team, the UMD women are also moving down to number 10 in the latest USCHO poll.
The Bulldogs faced a tough test in Ohio State this past weekend and ended up being outscored 9 to 3 as they dropped both games to the Buckeyes.
Even with the two losses, UMD still remains 4th in the WCHA standings with a 10-point lead over St. Thomas.
They’ll next be in action on Friday against Bemidji State at home. Puck drop is at 3:02 PM.
