Minnesota governor candidate Kristin Robbins visits Northland

DULUTH, Minn. — Minnesota Representative Kristin Robbins visited the Northland for a second time as her campaign for governor continues.

Robbins is one of a number of Republican candidates running for the seat currently occupied by Tim Walz, who is seeking his 3rd term as Governor.

As the Chair of the Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee, Robbins is vowing to bring her staunch approach on fraud to the governor’s position, as well as giving every corner of Minnesota a voice in St. Paul.

“I think Minnesotans are ready for a change,” said Robbins. “They do not want Tim Walz to have a third term, and they are ready for someone who’s going to stop the fraud, make sure that our communities are strong, and make sure that we have government that works for the citizens, not against them.

“Things like permitting reform and making sure that our communities are strong, tax reform, those are things I’ve worked on in the legislature, and I’m ready to do statewide,” said the gubernational candidate.

Since announcing her campaign on Aug. 10, Robbins said she’s been to 21 counties in 10 weeks in order to reach Minnesotans everywhere.
