DULUTH, Minn. – The bats would get hot and stay hot for the UMD baseball team as the Bulldogs swept Minnesota Crookston Wednesday afternoon at Bulldog Park.

In Game 1, Henry George led off the game with a solo home run as UMD topped Crookston 9-8 in nine innings. And in Game 2, the Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and held on for the 11-8 win.
