Duluth Man Arrested on Burglary Charges

A 21-year-old Duluth man has been arrested and charged after allegedly breaking into a home last week. 

The Duluth Police Department responded to a burglary in progress in the 400 North block of 42nd Avenue West around 1:30 p.m. on March 31.  Police say the person that called 911 heard the sound of breaking glass in the area and saw a male walking out the front door. 

Police located the man, identified as Scott Robert Vercelline Jr., in the area. 

Vercelline allegedly admitted to authorities to breaking into the home. 

He was taken to jail and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary.
