Ashland meat market uses locally raised hog

The 6th Street Meat Market in Ashland uses locally raised hog in their products.

They do this so that more money is being spent locally instead of nationwide.

The market has received locally raised lamb before but now they are using mainly hogs in their products.

Andrew Pearson, Manager of the meat market, said “Ultimately what we are trying to do is create a quality product for our customers and their input definitely benefits us for doing that.”

The meat market sells products like bacon wrapped jalapenos, marinated chicken and brats of all flavors.
