FOX 21 Volunteers During ‘Broadcasters Week Of Kindness’
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Broadcasters Association has declared this week as “Broadcasters Week of Kindness.”
The goal is for local journalists to get out into their communities and volunteer.
Earlier this week, FOX 21 Reporter Emily Halling visited Wired Whisker Cat Cafe in Duluth.
And on Thursday, FOX 21’s Maria Vollom, Rusty Mehlberg and Dan Hanger headed out to Park Point Beach in search of trash.
Within a two-block radius, they found old clothes, three bags of dog poop, straws and cigarette butts.
Rusty, the only father in the group, found a dirty diaper.
