Moose Lake/Willow River & Proctor Softball Close Out Seasons With Consolation Losses

Proctor finishes the year at 20-6. Meanwhile, Moose Lake/Willow River went 14-11.

MANKATO, Minn- Both the Moose Lake/Willow River and Proctor softball teams entered Thursday hoping to prolong their seasons in the consolation brackets at state.

Unfortunately, Proctor fell short in their first contest of the day, falling 7-4 to Glencoe-Silver Lake in the AA consolation semifinals.

Moose Lake on the other hand, topped Northome/Kelliher 12-2 in the A consolation semifinals.

That set up a matchup with Red Lake Falls in the consolation title game, who eventually topped the Rebels 2 to 0.

Proctor finishes the year at 20-6.

Moose Lake/Willow River went 14-11 this season.
