The Duluth Art Institute Opens Two New Exhibits

New Art Exhibit Utilizes Local Art

The Duluth Art Institute is opening two new exhibits. One of the exhibits is called Four North which highlights the works of four local women artists and the other is called Arrowhead Regional Biennial.

The artists utilized textiles, colors and patterning to bring their artstic visions to life.

The Biennial is one of the oldest running biennials in the upper Midwest.

Anne Dugan, the Executive Director of the Duluth Art Institute, said “I think a celebration of our own voices is so important when we are talking about regional culture.”

The exhibits are open to the public 7 days a week from 9am–5pm and it is free.
