Ashland Woman Hit, Killed By Vehicle

ASHLAND, Wis. — An Ashland woman has died after being hit by a vehicle.

The victim is identified as 68-year-old Rose Kozeneski.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 13 and 7th Street.

Police said the victim was struck while walking diagonally into a lane of traffic from the median.

Police said the driver never saw the pedestrian.

Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor.

The driver is a 66-year-old man from Ashland.
