Conveyor Belt Starts on Fire in Superior

On Tuesday at 2:06 a.m., the Superior Fire Department responded for a reported fire at 301 N 5th St. at Stella-Jones Corporation.
Crews arrived on scene and found an exterior conveyor belt engulfed in flames.
Three Engines and a command SUV with 10 personnel responded to the call.
Crews used approximately 1,100 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
All fire crews cleared at 3:19 a.m.
Damage is estimated to be around $50,000.
The cause is under investigation.
