Duluth Students to Compete in Washington D.C.
Holy Rosary students advance in national competition
Two students from the Holy Rosary School in Duluth are advancing to Washington D.C. in a competition.
They won first place in Minneapolis for their National History Day Exhibit.
“It’s on polymerase chain reaction,” said student Gianna Keneepkens. “Which is a technique they use in forensic science. It takes DNA and puts it in little test tubes and it amplifies it.”
The girls say a lot of work went into their projects.
“We stayed up long nights and worked on it a lot,” said Elley Graysmark.
The girls have set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for their trip to Nationals.
