Seller’s Antique Mall celebrates grand opening in Superior
SUPERIOR, Wis.– The city of Superior is celebrating the past, as they head into the new year because they debuted their new antique mall Thursday morning.
The owners of the ‘Sellers Auction’ on Belknap Street, decided to take advantage of the space after the Family Dollar store closed down.
The owners have had more than forty years of antique experience, and they’re thrilled for this opportunity.
The Sellers Antique Mall had a soft launch, on Black Friday, and the owner says, since then, the support has been non-stop.
“The community has been amazing. We just got our sign up yesterday, so people didn’t even know we were here yet, and they were still coming in, poking their heads in shopping,” said Christina Greene, co-owner, Seller’s Antique Mall.
Through-out the store, 50 vendors from the Twin Ports, and the Twin Cities are able to show off their collections for sale.
“We’ve always kicked around the idea of having an actual store, because sometimes people get frustrated with auctions, because they don’t want to come to the auction. They actually want to just buy something immediately,” said Greene.
The store is open seven days a week and they also showcase new products, like lotions and soaps.
And of course, they have plenty of rare and interesting antiques.
