UMD Men’s Hockey Tops Arizona State in Head Coach Scott Sandelin’s 1,000th Game with Bulldogs

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team closed out 2025 with a home series against Arizona State on Friday.

A special nigh for head coach Scott Sandelin as he reaches his 1,000th game coaching UMD.

The Bulldogs take care of business in game one, taking down the Sun Devils 3-1.

Max Plante, Daniel Shlaine, and Kyle Gaffney all found the back on the net in UMD’s win.

The Bulldogs close out their series with Arizona State on Saturday, December 13th.

Puck drop is at 5:07 p.m.
