They are a local organization that provides care, education, and treatment for children with severe emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities.

They said the money will help their winter wishes program where kids and their families come in and pick out gifts.

“And I thought of the people that run that program here, and told them we had an extra money, and they were just really excited, because they’re just concerned that they might run out of things each year, like we did last year, and we have more people coming this year, so it just added smiles to people’s faces around here that we could give back more.” said Larry Pajari, CEO of Northwood Children’s Service.

While $200 is only a drop in the bucket, being able to help a few more kids goes a long way.

“There’s a lot of kids in need, and there’s a lot of organizations like ourselves providing that service. And just think of us. I think it’s sometimes, sometimes these kids are also forgotten, and they really are really special kids that we serve each day.” said Pajari.
