Man arrested in connection to multiple Sawyer County fires
SAWYER COUNTY, Wis. — A man has been arrested in connection with multiple fires in Sawyer County.
According to authorities, the arrest of a 30-year-old man from Birchwood, Wisconsin, follows a nearly year-long investigation into a series of building fires that began in November of 2024.
He was arrested on multiple felony counts of Arson of Buildings.
Officials say he is currently being held in jail and awaiting a bail hearing.
