Gianna Kneepkens Claims Gold at Women’s AmeriCup
The current UCLA Bruin averaged almost 10 points per game and four rebounds per game at the Cup.
DULUTH, Minn.- This past weekend, former Duluth Marshall guard Gianna Kneepkens was in Chile competing for Team USA at the Women’s Americup.
As she makes her way back to the states, she’ll have some extra luggage coming back with her.
Kneepkens and the red, white, and blue took down Brazil 92 to 84 on Sunday to claim gold.
The current UCLA Bruin averaged almost 10 points per game and four rebounds per game at the Cup.
This is the 5th gold medal victory for Team USA. They also clinch a spot at the 2026 Women’s World Cup in Berlin.
