Duluth Curlers Thiesse & Dropkin Earn Berth at 2026 Olympics

It will be the first mixed doubles appearance for both curlers.

DULUTH, Minn.- A Duluth duo is heading to the Olympics next year.

Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin finished 5th at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship over the weekend to earn a berth for team USA in the 2026 games.

For Thiesse, this is her 2nd Olympics appearance as she previously competed in the 2022 games in Women’s Play.

As for Dropkin, this is his first-ever appearance.

It will also be the first mixed doubles appearance for both curlers.
