UMD Men’s Hockey Back Home for Series Against Alaska Fairbanks

The last time UMD faced Alaska Fairbanks was back in 2021, where the Bulldogs won 1-0.

DULUTH, Minn.- A fast turnaround for the UMD men’s hockey team as they welcome the University of Alaska Fairbanks for their first home series of 2025.

The last time UMD faced Alaska Fairbanks was back in 2021, where the Bulldogs won 1-0.

The Bulldogs look to continue their momentum from Bemidji against a tough opponent this weekend.

“Well, we saw them before. They’re not an easy team to play against either. We’re trying to focus on some of the things we need to do, said head coach Scott Sandelin.

“It was a stepping-stone for us and our plans and, our progress for the second half. I think take what we did well in that game and learn how to win and keep moving forward with that”, said senior defense Owen Gallatin.

UMD’s series with Alaska Fairbanks starts on Friday.

Puck drop is 7:07 p.m.
