Monday Morning Northland Forecast: 11/11/2024

Windy Monday Morning

Today is Veteran’s Day. Please tell any veteran you see, “Thank you!.” It will be partly cloudy this morning, becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. It will be quite windy this morning, with north winds 20-30mph, decreasing to 5-10mph late this afternoon. The average high for today is 39 degrees, and we will hit a high about 40. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and cool, with a low of 25. Tuesday will be sunny, with a high of 42 degrees. We will enjoy a large, strong area of high pressure for today and Tuesday, then a big change comes in.

On Wednesday, a low pressure system and cold front slides into town. That will make Wednesday a very rainy day, with a quarter to a half inch of rain possible. It will also be quite windy, with a high about 42 degrees. That will only be a 1-day rain event, as by Thursday, the rain will leave, but the clouds will hang around, with a high of 45. Friday will end the week with sunshine, and a high of 50. And, the coming weekend will be the 4th in a row with a chance for rain, as Saturday looks cloudy, and Sunday looks rainy, with highs in the mid 40s both days.

Enjoy today’s Veteran’s Day. Maybe you have the day off. And, be sure to say, “Thank you” to those who have served, and are serving now.
