Monday Morning Northland Forecast: 9/9/2024

A Warm and Sunny Week!

When a high pressure ridge stretching from coast to coast and border to border gets comfortable, it’s pretty tough to nudge it along. That’s exactly what we have right now, and that means a whole week of sunshine, light winds, and warm temps. I hope you aren’t sick of summer, yet!

Our normal high and low for today is 70 and 50. We are going to top those temps every day this week. Which is ironic, since we just had a frost advisory and a freeze warning on Saturday morning. Weather can change so quickly in the Northland! We are looking at high temps in the upper 70s and lower 80s for this whole work week. We will finally cool down (and still be above normal) by the weekend, with highs in the mid 70s. Our lows this week will be in the mid to upper 50s. This will also be a dry week, as the high pressure will keep rain away for the next 5 or 6 days. There actually is no rain in the forecast for the forseeable future. That can change, obviously, and it will. Just not anytime soon.

So, enjoy and appreciate this stretch of fine weather. Sometime soon, you’ll be looking back and wishing it was still this way…when we have a foot of snow on the way!
