Hoops Brewing Hosts ‘We’re Cutting You Off’ Homegrown Wrap-Up Party
Festival-goers could stop by and get a deal on beers by letting a bartender cut off their Homegrown wristband
DULUTH, Minn. — Sunday was the last day of the Homegrown Music Festival in the Twin Ports. This year’s festival started with an official kick off party at Hoops Brewing in Canal Park and now music lovers can return to Hoops to be “cut off.”
Hoops Brewing invited festival-goers for the “We’re Cutting You Off” Wrap Up Party. Anyone who came in Sunday and let the bartender cut off their Homegrown wristband got half off a regular pint or buy-one-get-one half off of half pints.
“We thought it would be a fun play on words,” said Director of Marketing & Events Ingrid Johnson. “We’re cutting you off, but we’re cutting the wristband off and we’re turning it into a party. It’s kind of like a way to memorialize another successful week of Homegrown and live local music.”
Hoops Brewing says they really put an emphasis on being a part of events like Homegrown. They say their beer hall is for the community and parties like this help make that a reality.
