Hilltoppers Overcome Early Goals, Beat Breck On Home Ice

Thorson scores three, Lindaman adds two

DULUTH, Minn.- Despite giving up two early goals in the first period, the Duluth Marshall girls hockey team was able to pull out a 6-4 victory against Breck at Mars Lakeview Arena Friday night.

Following Breck’s two goals to begin the game, Ilsa Lindaman evened the score with two goals of her own in the first period. The Hilltoppers would take the lead with three goals scored in the second period, including two from Nina Thorson. The junior would score again in the third period to complete the hat trick.

Duluth Marshall (20-3-1) will wrap up their regular season schedule on Saturday when they host Thief River Falls at 2 p.m.
