Celebrating the New Year With a New Sparkling Malt

DULUTH, Minn. — Have you ever considered what a new year’s malt would taste like? Celebrating the new year a diner looks to shake things up with a new malt.

At Bridgeman’s for a limited time you can get a taste of the new year with their “Happy New Year” mega malt.

Since COVID, staff have been creating new mega malts that fit the holidays.

The “Happy New Year” mega malt is topped with whipped cream, a cake pop, and a sparkler.

“We were trying to find fun ideas and then we started to go crazy with our shakes, then the mega malt formed. During the last few years, especially during the holidays, we come up with fun ideas to have people come in and enjoy some ice cream,” said Jay Broman, the owner of Bridgeman. “This year is the first time that we dedicated to incorporate a little fireworks so we got sparklers on this one. So we’ll see how that one goes.”

The “Happy New Year” malt is available through Jan. 6. If you missed out, next month Bridgeman is planning to have a valentines themed mega malt.
