One Dead After Head-On Collision on Highway 2
The accident happened just east of Warba, near Grand Rapids
A head on collision Sunday night, October 9, 2016, on U.S. Highway 2 east of Warba has left one Deer River man dead.
A Nissan was traveling westbound on Highway 2, when it crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a Chevrolet head-on.
The Chevrolet ended up in the eastbound ditch and the Nissan came a rest in the westbound ditch.
Officials reported that the driver of the Nissan died at the scene.
