City Looks To Outside Help For Leftover Storm Debris

The city of Duluth is asking for patience from homeowners who still have storm tree debris piled up on their curbs.

“We are working with a smaller crew and only city staff, the work in Hunters Park, Morley and Woodland could easily take up two full weeks. We are working on a separate tree service to provide additional help but that could take another two weeks before one is selected. Our goal is to get to all impacted areas. Thank you for your patience,” Mayor Emily Larson told FOX 21 on Sunday.

The city council will be discussing the need for this outside tree service this

Thursday in a special meeting, which could also mean a vote to approve the bidding process.
