School Board members endorse Erik Simonson for the Senate

School board and City Council members came out to endorse Erik Simonson for the Minnesota state Senate today.

School board members said they’ve had good working relationships with Simonson during his time in the house and they are hopeful he will bring great things to the city of Duluth.

Erik Simonson said “Im just so appreciative that school board members came out and supported me and my campaign and over the past four years in the house we have made some really good working relationships and I look forward to carrying that into the senate.”

Simonson was part of the legislative team in 2014 that secured state funding for various projects in Duluth such as wade stadium and spirit mountain.
