Now Streaming on 90.9 FM
“The Current” — a radio program on 90.9 FM — launched on Duluth airwaves Monday at 9 a.m.
The program originally started broadcasting in the Twin Cities back in 2005, and has been part of Minnesota Public Radio for 11 years.
Now that they are live in Duluth, they’re looking for a host for the local show, focusing on musicians from the Northland.
“I’m so excited that we’re in Duluth, it’s been a dream for The Current to be here ever since we started the station years ago,” said Jim McGuinn, the Program Director of The Current.
The Current will be available for a radius of 20 miles surrounding downtown Duluth.
