Duluth Students Take In First Full Day Of School

After a nice and warm summer off, Duluth students made their way back to school Tuesday for the first full day of classes.

We caught up with a mother and her second-grade daughter at Congdon Park Elementary who both were taking the first day back in stride.

 “I’ve had so much fun with her this summer; after I dropped her off today I thought now what. I felt really lonely without her at first,” said Angela Sarkela-Saur, mother of Anika.

“Today was very low key and we did a little bit of everything,” Anika said.

Students in the Superior School District had their first day back last week.
