Volunteers from all over Minnesota will be at the DECC July 17 and 18, providing free dental care.

Dentists, assistants, and dental hygienists will be on hand for the 2 day clinic.

The dental professionals are coming to the Northland as part of Minnesota Mission Mercy.

Duluth dentist, Dr. Steve L’Abbe, said patients who attend the free clinic can receive services ranging from basic cleanings to root canals.

In 2014, the clinic was held in Mankato, and approximately 1,500 patients were seen free of charge.

According to Dr. L’Abbe volunteers are hoping to treat around 2,000 patients during the Duluth clinic.

Doors will open at 5:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18.

Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
