Foxboro Man Charged With Attempted Homicide

A Douglas County man is charged with attempted homicide.

Christopher McNelis, 31, of Foxboro, is accused of putting a gun to a man’s head at an after-bar party Saturday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say the victim reported the trigger of the gun being pulled, but a round was not in the chamber.

McNelis was behind bars Monday night in the Douglas County Jail on a $10,000 cash bail.
